The second book in the Appalachian Roots series is Sown in Dark Soil. All the books are stand-alones, but they follow the same family. If you want to read them all, you should read them in order so there won't be spoilers.
The Appalachian Mountains are a beautiful place for life and love, but they can prove harsh and treacherous to the inexperienced.

ReplyDeleteI've seen Roslyn's Rescue is out. I wanted to include it on my new Medieval Fiction 2019 list, but alas, it was released on the 30th of December, and I would be breaking my own rules to only include titles released between 1st January and 31st December this year.
ReplyDeleteIt actually came out late on the 31st, so it would have been very difficult to have it on a 2018 list. I think including it on a 2019 list makes the most sense. :)
